I’m a strong, passionate, compassionate, and driven human. I am also a coach, athlete, competitive powerlifter, volleyball player, military spouse, dog mom, coffee lover, and owner of Wicked Iron Strength. I have over 10 years of coaching experience working with athletes, military, and high performing humans. My coaching focuses on strength, nutrition, mindset, and behavior change. I works with my clients to make fitness and nutrition work for them and with them as part of their life so they can happily live a life that feels whole, empowering, and ever-evolving.
I struggled with low confidence and feeling uncomfortable in my body for a lot of my life. Both fitness and nutrition really started out as ways to change my body, but they evolved into so much more. I was a life long athlete and was very familiar with the cardio room at the gym but didn’t find weights until I was about about 22 years old when I first walked into a CrossFit box. I quickly fell in love with the challenge of moving my body in this way, felt very empowered by lifting weights, and saw that lifting helped really change my body composition in a positive way. Nutrition was a confusing place for me for a LONG time- there is A LOT of BS out there and diet culture ruled my thoughts and behaviors until I finally had enough. I coach nutrition in the ways I do now because I want to have this be an area of confidence, empowerment, and strength for others. I don’t want others to feel like they’re in a dark, negative, confusing place where they feel broken. It’s very possible for nutrition to propel you forward, be part of your lifestyle, and have it work WITH you and FOR you.
As an athlete, human, coach, and business owner, I’m motivated by and passionate about growth and living a life filled with doing cool shit. I fell into the fitness industry after an unexpected pivot in life and truly can’t picture it any other way. I feel grateful every day that I am able to do something for work that I LOVE and there’s not one day that goes by that I’m not honored to be able to connect with and support others in their own journey. I am someone who truly believes in leading by example and I live and breathe my message every day. I firmly believe that fitness and nutrition are part of the big picture in someone’s wellbeing. There are so many parallels in life and I aim to help the people I work with connect them so they can feel empowered, grow their confidence as a whole, trust that they can take on any challenge, and end each day feeing proud of themselves.
